USER'S RESPONSIBILITY
NOTE: The service call in relation to this product (“Product”) and any repair made to the Product that is not related to defective materials and/or manufacturing faults in the Product will be charged to the user of this Product (the “User”). Before the User requests a service to the Product under this warranty, please check the following to save money.
- POWER – Check that the power plug is pushed in, and the power is switched on. If there is still no power, check whether there is power at the point by using another appliance.
- USER CONTROL – Ensure that all user controls are correctly set.
- INSTRUCTION MANUAL - Please refer to the instruction manual for operation, simple troubleshooting, and other information.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
Warranty details indicated as below:
- This warranty is valid only for domestic use only and is strictly prohibited for commercial use.
- This warranty becomes effective on the date of purchase.
- This warranty card is irreplaceable in any event of loss and is non-transferable.
- This warranty card and purchase receipt shall be presented before any work can be carried out on the iSONIC product under the warranty.
- The repair or replacement of the iSONIC product under warranty will not extend the period of the warranty.
- Any defective small appliances product as described in this warranty card shall be brought to iSONIC's authorised dealers by customer.
- If the product or parts of this product covered under this warranty requires repair, iSONIC may, at its sole option and discretion, repair, replace or exchange it with an equivalent product or part that is new or refurbished. The ownership of the replaced product or part of the replaced product will be passed to the owner from iSONIC at the time of the replacement; and/or the ownership of the product or part of the product will be passed from the owner to iSONIC at the time of the replacement.
- iSONIC reserves the right to impose charges for services on the product which are outside the coverage of the warranty.
- Valid “one replacement” for compressor, evaporator, motor within warranty period on manufacturing defects. (This subject to change without prior notice)
- Transportation, labour, service & gas refilling will apply after the first replacement claim.
- If you should require service assistance, please contact or send the product to the nearest iSONIC service centre. Please have your full iSONIC model number and serial number, IMEI number (if applicable), warranty card and receipt or invoice, name and address of dealer, date and place of purchase and a brief description of the fault/query ready when contacting our service team.
- If the product is over the warranty period, you should contact or send the product to iSONIC service centre for a chargeable repair.
- If the product is covered by an extended warranty provided by the dealer, you should contact the dealer from whom this extended warranty was purchased. (Usually, the same dealer from which the product was originally purchased.)
- You shall permit iSONIC to conduct diagnostic tests on the product to determine the cause of failure/defect. iSONIC's determination of cause of fault/defect shall be final and conclusive.
- Repair parts and replacement products shall be furnished at iSONIC's discretion on an exchange basis, with a product of comparable value and shall be either new or reconditioned. In the event of exchange, iSONIC will not refund the difference between the value of the replacement and the product. iSONIC will request payment shall there be price difference for replacement model based on the current recommended retail price (RRP). All replaced parts and products shall become iSONIC's property.
- iSONIC may refuse to attend to any products installed in locations which are inaccessible and/or hazardous to its service agents, labour charges are payable by you for relocation of product to another location.
- Please remove any options, features, parts, accessories or attachments prior to sending the product to iSONIC, unless such options are required in the course of repair. iSONIC shall not be responsible for any damage to or loss of such options, features, parts, accessories or attachments.
- You shall bear all postage, insurance or delivery costs incurred in delivering the product from you to iSONIC and/or from iSONIC to you.
- If iSONIC determines that the repair required is not covered under the warranty for whatever reason (including in the case of poor performance/ reception/ output quality due fault of signal source condition), you will be duly notified. If you were to authorise the repair not covered under the warranty, you must pay for all parts, shipping, and labour charges for the repair or return of such product.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except as expressly set forth in the Warranty contained herein, iSONIC makes no warranty or representation and there are no conditions, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, of any kind whatsoever with respect to the product, including but not limited to the merchantability of the product or its fitness for any particular purpose or use, design, condition, quality, or performance of the product, or workmanship of the product or the components contained therein. Nothing contained in the user/instruction guide/manual shall be construed to create an express warranty of any kind whatsoever with respect to the product.
- iSONIC shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product or arising directly or indirectly from the use or loss of use of the product or from the breach of the express warranty, including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages, or loss of anticipated profits or benefits, or for damages arising from any tort (including negligence) or fault committed by iSONIC, its agents or employees, or for any breach of contract or for any claim brought against you by any other party.
This warranty does not cover:
- On-site warranty service for islands other than Pulau Pinang & Pulau Langkawi and hills other than Cameron Highland or any places only can be reached by ships, boats, or vessels and etc.
- Normal wear and tear including accessories that might wear out over time including but not limited to, remote control, battery, shelf tray, guard bottle, handle, filter, duct, hose, shower head, end cap, pan support, inner pot, cosmetic plastic parts, knob, cabinet.
- Natural disasters or hybrid disasters.
- Damage from external sources including but not limited to, transit, weather, electrical outages, power surges, inadequate plumbing, water supply or water pressure.
- Use of the iSONIC product which is not in accordance with the iSONIC product instruction manual.
- Use of parts and accessories which are not original from iSONIC.
- In the event of any discrepancy between the English version of this warranty card and any other language translation, the English version shall prevail.
- The serial number of the product has been altered, tampered with, or removed.
- The products purchased overseas or from non-authorized dealers or retailers, secondhand sets, products sold "AS IS", "REFURBISHED" or bearing similar notations.
- The product has been tampered with, subject to misuse, negligence and damaged while in transit.
- Damage as a result of improper packing during shipment/transportation to iSONIC.
- Defects caused by causes beyond the control including, but not limited to, the user negligence, faulty assembly or incomplete/improper installation, fire, lightning, electrical disturbance, accidents, and other natural disasters or due to failure to maintain the product according to instruction.
- Regular maintenance such as cleaning, maintenance, general service, and overhaul.
- This warranty does not cover general product maintenance, demonstration, installation, routine servicing, calibration and customisation of the product.
- Defects or faults in the products which have been used for commercial purposes or which have been rented/leased for commercial purposes, or which have been otherwise subject to other than household use.
- The product has not been installed, maintained, used, or operated in accordance with the instruction manual.
- Damaged or missing parts which do not conform to the sales contract, invoice or packaging which can reasonably be discovered through visual inspections on the date of purchase or immediately thereafter must be reported within 1 WEEK from the date of purchase, failing which, no defects will be deemed to be present at the time of purchase.
- If any cracks or dents are found upon delivery, please report them to us within 24 hours of the delivery date. Otherwise, iSONIC will not be responsible and will not provide replacements.
- Warranty certificate is altered, defaced, or erased in any manner whatsoever.
- Components parts which require replacement in the ordinary course of use due to normal wear and tear by reasons of their characteristic, including accessories.
- External appearance of the product against damages, corrosion, rust, scratches, dents, and aging.
- The product has undergone repairs, modifications, or dismantled by any other person prior verification of approval by iSONIC.
- Noise generated by the expansion/constriction of the front panel, back covers etc. due to the changes of temperature.
- To the fullest extent permissible by law, iSONIC liability under this warranty is expressly limited to repairing, replacing, and/or exchanging the defective product with an equivalent product only. iSONIC (including the affiliates, agents and contractor of iSONIC) will not under any circumstances or under legal theory (whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise) be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses and/or damages, including without limitation, property damage, personal injury, lost time, loss of data, delays in servicing or the inability to render service on any covered product.
- This warranty is invalidated if the defect is caused (howsoever) by wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, rough handling or abuse. It is invalidated if unauthorised persons carry out any alterations or repairs.
- The product without model number and serial number, IMEI number (if applicable), warranty card and receipt or invoice, name and address of dealer, date and place of purchase and a brief description of the fault/query ready when contacting our service team.
- Cosmetic damage (dent, crack, scratch & etc.)
- Spillage of food/liquids, corrosion, rusting or stains.
- Operating with incorrect or irregular voltage supply.
- Effects of electromagnetic interference.
- Improper testing, operation, demonstration, maintenance, installation, adjustment or any alteration or modification of any kind.
- If any part or parts of the unit are replaced with a part or parts not supplied or approved by iSONIC.
- Repair or attempted repair by any party other than an iSONIC authorised technician.
- Where any ancillary equipment or software not furnished or approved by iSONIC causes problems or damage.
- Failure to conduct user servicing or cleaning of the product or part (including heads, internal cavities, user accessible filters).
- Infestation by insects or vermin.
- Use of which is not designed.
- Use of faulty or leaking batteries or batteries not manufactured by iSONIC.
- Damage due to foreign material.
- Damage due to exposure to moisture, dampness or extreme thermal environment conditions.
- Various product models have differing specifications, functions, display, appearance and performance, and is not regarded as a defect in the product.
- Please ensure that data in your product has been fully "backed-up" before it is handed to iSONIC for repair. Although iSONIC will take reasonable efforts to return your product with all your software programmes, data or information stored on any media intact, however iSONIC shall not liable if during the repair of the product the contents in the product's data storage media were altered, deleted, or in any way modified.
- Where damage is a result from any failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions contained in any instruction manual, owner's manual and/or user guides available in connection with the product.
- This limited warranty shall not extend to anyone other than the original purchaser of this product and states your exclusive remedy. If any portion of this limited warranty is held illegal or unenforceable by reason of any law, such partial illegality or unenforceability shall not affect the enforceability for the remainder of this limited warranty which you acknowledge is and will always be construed to be limited by its terms or as limited as the law permits.
- This Warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in any way. The warranty is in addition to (and does not exclude or modify in any way) any non-excludable statutory rights you may have. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions of implied or deemed conditions or warranties, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you.
- iSONIC reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without any prior notice.
- iSONIC reserves the right to reject the warranty claim not registered or shall there be any non-observance of the above terms and conditions.
- It is necessary for iSONIC to collect, transfer, and process personal data to facilitate the requested after sales support service. iSONIC will use and protect the Owner’s personal data.
Repairability conditions:
- If it is repairable, the repair costs will be incurred, and repair time can be longer than usual. The detailed cost & estimated repair time can be confirmed at the relevant service centre.
- It requires verification to check if it is repairable or not.
- The product must be a genuine product purchased from authorised dealer of iSONIC.
- If there is a severe difference, in terms of product specification and/or other technical aspects, repair is not available.
- If the product involves some large size parts cases such as TV Panels, Refrigerator door, etc.; or non-availability of parts such as end of production, etc.; such other conditions as determined solely by iSONIC.
